Aly Valpone and I met through a mutual friend many years ago and although I always adored her, it wasn't until about a year or so ago that we actually became close. She is one of the most optimistic people I've ever met - (almost) always has a smile on her face and is so excited about life and what it has to offer. We have a mutual obsession with all things ginger-flavored and she constantly educates me on the newest items on the market. Aly has a true passion for exploring new and thrilling things in the world. She is definitely one of those people who makes me want to be the best version of myself, always.

Eating lunch at my desk. I've been learning to stop and know that work can wait . I have actually started taking advantage of the nice weather by getting outside during my lunch break which makes me so happy (and more productive)!

I luckily haven't but I have seen health issues that people close to me have gone through and its made me more conscious of how precious our bodies, minds and souls are. It's made me realize how important it is to listen to your body and make decisions that help you feel and perform your best, even if it requires altering your lifestyle by seeing specialists regularly, eliminating your favorite foods or vices, etc. Caring for your health requires making tough decisions sometimes.
