When people ask me the oh, so fun question of “what do you do?”, I often get blank stares from people that immediately make judgments when I say the word “coach.” I typically find they prejudge because they truly have no idea what I’m talking about. They’ve either heard of coaching and never understood it (maybe they thought it was fluffy) OR hearing those words come out of my mouth was the first time they heard it and they simply don’t know what I’m talking about. Either way, I’m here to help anyone and everyone understanding what the purpose of coaching is. It’s not therapy, that’s for sure. It can benefit anyone dealing with anything as long as they’re willing to invest time, money and energy into themselves.
“Wait, is that like, the thing where you do yoga and stuff?” is just one of the many questions I’ve been asked.
